Kailynn Renee Davis was born on April 22, 2010 @ 7:09 am. She
weighed 4 pounds 5 ounces and was 16 inches long. She was 3 1/2
weeks early so it was a little unexpected when my water broke.
When she was born she was not breathing but the doctors got her
to breath with a mask and got her little heart pumping. Through all
of this I had a fear that I would not get to meet my little one but
she broke all the odds and was with us for 17 beautiful hours. She
passed away peacefully @12:03am.
Through this whole journey
I looked back and wondered if I made the right decision because of
how hard it has been the last few weeks but now know that even
though it was such a short visit she will always be with us in our
hearts.
We are still grieving tremendously for the loss of our baby girl
but we know that she is with God and are very happy.
It is so hard for many to understand how these babies touch our
lives and we are very blessed to have met our baby Kailynn.

name is Amber and my husbands name is Kyle.
We have one
daughter named Jailey, who is 2 and we are pregnant with our 2nd
baby.
Kailynn Renee is due on May 16, 2010. We are from
Douglass, KS.
Our baby girl was diagnosed with full trisomy
13 when I was 21 weeks pregnant.
Our family is doing well
and are looking forward to the birth of our 2nd daughter.
