 My name is Laura Hamilton Gomez, my son Santos has Trisomy
13, and he was born March 2, 2007 at United Hospital in St. Paul, MN.

Santos has been beating the odds and his doctors are amazed that he has been
able to over come so many hurdles. He unfortunately has had a lot of issues with
finding the correct seizure medication and has been hospitalized due to one very
scary seizure. He will soon be going in to see his cardiologist to find out if
one of the wholes has closed and if not we will be scheduling the surgery to
close it.
We have been truly blessed to have as much times as we have had with
him, we have been told a lot that he should not have survived birth after all
the issues he had at birthday, but he was a fighter and has remained that way.
Santos has a lot of wonderful people who have kept him in their prayers and have
been a great support to our family.
