 Our
son Nathaniel Johnson was born on September 10, 2000 at Winter Park
Hospital in Florida. He has mosaic trisomy 13
We now live in Houston Texas. He has had many health problems since
birth including bowel problems, polycystic kidney disease, glaucoma,
seizures and respiratory problems. He has had many surgeries and is
tube-fed.
He does not walk or talk but is very active and loves to play with
toys. He smiles and laughs. He had a colostomy in January 2006 and
almost died. He has never put on weight well since and is long and
thin.
He recently got sick on February 21 and was hospitalized.
He is now in a long term care facility for children and we are
praying he gets to come back home soon and be with his family.
We love him and are praying for his full recovery. He is a special
child and has proven, that against all odds, there is always hope
for a recovery. He is a testament of the human spirit and a living
testimony of God's grace.
